District News

Amy consistently goes above and beyond to support students, parents, teachers, and her colleagues. Working in one of the busiest school offices in the county, she manages countless responsibilities with remarkable organization, patience, and professionalism.

Amy’s attention to detail is phenomenal. She understands the importance of accurate information and takes great pride in ensuring that every task is completed correctly and thoroughly. Her knowledge of our Student Information System, Infinite Campus, is exceptional. Even more importantly, she willingly shares that knowledge with others, patiently helping her coworkers learn and navigate the system more effectively.

What truly sets Amy apart is the way she treats people. She greets parents, students, and teachers with courtesy, compassion, and respect. No matter how busy the office becomes or how many demands are placed on her, Amy always seems to have a smile on her face and is ready to help.

Amy is also an outstanding teammate. She willingly steps in wherever she is needed and can always be counted on to get the job done. Her dedication, positive attitude, knowledge, and genuine care for others make her an invaluable member of the Butts County School System.

Amy doesn't simply go the extra mile—she makes the extra mile look effortless. We are lucky to have teammates like Mrs. Matthews at Butts County School System.
