District News

JES Families,

On the morning of September 2, 2026, we were made aware of a water main break that had impacted service at Jackson Elementary School. Through the combined efforts of the City of Jackson and the BCSS maintenance crew, water has been restored to JES.

However, as we continue flushing the system to remove any remaining sediment, we will provide students with bottled drinking water. An additional pallet of bottled water is also on the way to ensure an adequate supply.

We would like to thank the City of Jackson water authority and our dedicated maintenance staff for their quick response and continued commitment to the safety and well-being of our students and staff.

Thank you for your continued support and  understanding,

Will Rustin
