BCSS Families and Stakeholders,

On Tuesday, February 7, 2023, Jackson High School received an anonymous threat via telephone. As a result, the school was immediately placed on a code yellow and law enforcement was called. All students and staff are safe, and at no time was there a direct threat to the students or staff at JHS. Please be assured that the safety of all students and staff in BCSS is our top priority. We will always take the greatest precaution to ensure that our students and staff are safe at all times.

Jackson High School will proceed with a normal dismissal process. As always, we want to thank our local law enforcement for their cooperation.
