On Tuesday, May 2, 2023, the final beam in the Butts County Schools Performing Arts Center was put into place during the Topping Out Ceremony. Butts County School System staff and Board of Education members joined representatives from Parrish Construction Group and Breaux & Associates Architects for this milestone occasion.

 

Students and staff from the art, theater, band, and chorus departments in Hampton L. Daughtry Elementary, Jackson Elementary, and Stark Elementary School, Henderson Middle School, and Jackson High School visited the construction site last week to make their mark before the final beam was secured in place. Their names will forever be at the Performing Arts Center.

 

With an estimated completion date of Fall 2023, we can’t wait to begin using this facility to celebrate fine arts in Butts County.
