As details of the tragic shooting at Apalachee High School in Barrow County continue to unfold, please join the Butts County Board of Education in sending our deepest condolences to the entire Barrow County community.

 

I want to assure the entire community, that the safety and well-being of our entire student body as well as our staff will always be our top priority.

 

We will continue to work alongside local law enforcement to keep our schools as secure as possible. We will also continue to review and make adjustments when necessary our security protocols.
