BCSS Families,

We have been in constant communication with the Butts County Offices and Road crews and we don’t feel like the roads will thaw enough today to not have patches of black ice tomorrow even up to as late as 11:00 in shaded areas; therefore, we are cancelling school for Thursday, January 23rd.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but we cannot put our buses on the roads in these conditions. 

We are planning on a regular scheduled day on Friday, January 24th.

As always, the safety of our students and staff is of the utmost importance. We encourage everyone to be weather aware throughout the day tomorrow. If circumstances change, we will provide updates through Infinite Campus Messenger, local media, social media, and the BCSS webpage.
