Dear Jackson Elementary School Parents, Students, and Staff, 

I am honored and excited to introduce myself as your newly appointed Assistant Principal of Jackson Elementary School. It is a privilege to join such a dedicated and vibrant community, and I am eager to work together to support our students' growth and success. 

With close to two decades of experience in education, I have had the opportunity to serve in various roles, including being a paraprofessional, classroom teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal. These experiences have equipped me with a deep understanding of the needs of students, teachers, and families, and I am committed to fostering an environment where every child feels valued and motivated to achieve their best. 

At Jackson Elementary, I believe in the importance of a collaborative approach to education. By working closely with teachers, staff, and parents, we can create a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages academic excellence, personal growth, and a love of learning. I am particularly passionate about promoting literacy, creating systems and procedures to ensure positive behavior and supports that are conducive to high student achievement, enhancing STEM education, supporting students’ social-emotional learning, and equipping students with the requisite skills to be critical thinkers and innovators. I am deeply passionate about education and promoting continuous improvement, and I wholeheartedly look forward to supporting and enhancing our schoolwide initiatives. 

I am also committed to maintaining open lines of communication. It is my utmost desire and commitment to provide leadership that fosters a safe, inclusive, and forward-thinking school environment that promotes exceptional student learning outcomes and is aligned with Jackson Elementary and Butts County's core values and principles.
