Hi, I am Dawn Greene and I am very excited to be teaching second grade this year at Jackson Elementary.  I have taught at our school for the past 16 years.  I taught Kindergarten for 9 years and Gifted for 7 (1st-5th).  I am from Butts County (I was born at the local hospital....shocking right) and I have lived here all my life.  I am proud to say that I am able to give back to our local community.  I have two grown daughters who attended our local schools and are both working on their college degrees.  I will actually be a grandma in January.  I am very excited about that.
