Welcome to 4th Grade!

I am so happy to be at Daughtry Elementary School this year! I love teaching and have been a teacher for 16 years. I grew up in Clayton County and graduated from Forest Park High School. After high school, I earned a degree in psychology from Clayton State College. I completed an intern at a children's behavioral center and realized that my passion was working with young people, so I became a teacher! I have a master's degree and a specialist degree in Education and Learning.

I am married and have 3 children. My step-daughter is 25 and has a one year old, so I am a Grammy now! I also have two boys, 18 and 20. My family is my world and I want all the kids in my class to become a part of my family.

My goal as a teacher is to help students realize that what they do now matters. All of them are equally important and they can accomplish whatever they put their heart into!
