I am so honored to be a teacher here at Henderson Middle School. It is amazing to be a teacher in the same system in which I was educated!

Currently, I teach Sixth Grade English Language Arts as well as Advanced/Honors English Language Arts. I am also certified to teach Social Studies and the Gifted Learner. Teaching is what I was born to do.

I have degress and certifications from Gordon State College, Mercer University, The University of Grand Canyon, and Georgia State University.

I have three sons. The oldest is a graduate of Jackson High School and my other sons are currently attending Jackson High School. The Butts County School System is near and dear to my heart! I have twenty one years of teaching expereince. I believe that a good educator in not only concerned with academics, but rather a good educator focuses on the whole child. My personal educational philosopy is "Every Day, Every Child!"

 I am looking forward to another year of building relationships and educating children.
