My name is Mrs. Smith and I am from Macon, Georgia. I am entering my 9th year as a Special Education Teacher here at Jackson High School. I am a Co-chair of the Special Education Department. I started out teaching in the Alternative Program from 2014-2016. Currently, I am the co-teacher for Economics and US History.

I hold a Bachelors of Arts degree in Pyschology from Fort Valley State University and a Masters in Special Education from Georgia College & State University. I am married with four children and two beautiful grandchildren. I am the Assitant Cheerleading Coach as well as the Assistant Girls Basketball Coach. I enjoy being part of the community that helps these young ladies and gentlemen navigate through learning by assisting them in reaching their potential. Through hard work, dedication, determination, and FUN, we will work together to have an outstanding 21-22 school year.  #RD4L
