Greetings students and parents of Jackson High School!

My name is Shaun Guillory and it will be my pleasure to teach/coach your child this year at Jackson High School.  This is my third year at JHS as well as in the Butts County school district and I am very excited about the upcoming year.  I will be teaching United States History as well as serving as the head Women's Flag Football and head Men's Soccer coach.  It is my goal to ensure that my students and my athletes excel in the classroom and on the field in order to have a successful year.

I was born and raised in Louisiana and am a proud alum of Louisiana State University (LSU).  I received my Master's Degree in curriculum, instruction, and assessment from Walden University and my Education Specialist degree in Teacher Leadership from Walden as well.  This is my 23rd year as an educator having served in Clayton County and Henry County in my years prior.  I have taught a plethora of subjects in my career, mostly social studies, and I have served as a coach for many different sports including men and women's soccer, women's lacrosse, women's flag football, and men's cross country.  Needless to say, I have a wealth of knowledge to pass along to our outstanding JHS students!

I recently moved to Jackson in November 2020 and I look forward to continuing to serve my new community.  In my spare time, I enjoy creative writing, gaming, movies, running, music, and spending time with family. Hopefully, we'll have a phenomenal school year together!!
